Me: Can I use the bathroom? Teacher: I don't know, can you? Me: When I was using "can" I was using its secondary model form as a verbal modifier asking for permission, as opposed to expressing an ability. I thought since you were a teacher you'd know that. My bad. MAY I use the restroom?

I remember
Once around summer of 08, my childhood friends and I were so bored we decided to go trick-or-treating with Santa hats and a giant Santa sock, We then knocked on this one house, and my friends little brother( about 5) looked through the window and shouted to us “there’s black peoples” .. We laughed and then ran back to out house….. Cool story huh? :)
